In November 1982, I was admitted to the practice of law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The next morning, I joined my father's law firm as an associate. William Sunday, Esquire, entrusted me with all the firm's litigation matters. Consequently, my 27-year career has been focused on legal matters presented in the courtroom. Contact me at my Orange County law firm, The Law Office of Jeffrey A. Sunday, to learn more about me and my areas of practice.

During my first years in practice, I dealt with divorce and other family law matters, criminal defense and civil cases. After a few years, I began to focus almost exclusively in the area of family law. During my first decade of practice, I handled over a hundred jury and non-jury trials.

My experience as a court-appointed Divorce Master in Pennsylvania has proven invaluable to my practice of divorce and family law. A Divorce Master conducts hearings in divorce cases involving the distribution of marital assets and debts, alimony issues, and attorney's fees awards. Cases were presented in my office and included testimony, exhibits and arguments. Thereafter, I issued a written decision, which was could be appealed to the Court of Common Pleas. Because of this experience, I am in a position to counsel clients about the range of likely outcomes in their cases. Understanding a potential outcome can lead to the settlement of a case, saving time, money, and the stress associated with litigation.

In 1993, I decided to leave the family firm and relocate to Florida. I was admitted to the practice of law in Florida in June 1994. At that time, I decided to specialize in family law, and to this day limit the scope of my practice to matters involving the family unit. I have been at the same location in Orlando. Divorce law has been my focus since August of 1994.

Since 1997, I have been appointed by several judges in the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial District for Orange County, Florida to serve as the Guardian Ad Litem for minor children involved in custody disputes. Because of this experience, I believe that I am in a position to understand and assist clients with issues related to custody disputes.

As a family attorney, I consider providing clients with personal attention of the utmost importance. My clients will always meet personally with me at every stage of their case. Because many family problems occur during off-hours, such as problems with visitation and domestic violence, I make myself available to clients during evenings and weekends. My home telephone number is listed in the white pages and my mobile phone number is available upon request. To speak with me about your divorce or other family law issues, contact my Orlando office at The Law Office of Jeffrey A. Sunday.
